Grapevine House is a restored 19th Century cottage and is the largest of our three houses. The house sleeps 6, in three separate double bedrooms with their own en suite bathrooms. You will find original features and quirky fixtures throughout, recycled Anatolian doors, oak antique floorboards but at the same time comfort has been prioritised.

THE HOUSE 

Grapevine House is a self-contained house in the heart of the village of Sirince commanding fantastic far reaching views from every room.  The fully equipped kitchen and practical dining area are on the ground floor. There is a cozy living room, complete with fireplace which converts into a third double bedroom if needed. A unique handmade staircase leads to a  'sedir' seating area for relaxing where you can enjoy beautiful views in every season. There are two double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. The Windsor room has a 200 year old Irish four poster bed , views across the village to the hills beyond and a wood burning fireplace.

  The Blue room has fantastic views offering glimpses of village life and cobbled streets, as well as the hills beyond. The blue marble en suite bathroom completes the room.

Both bedrooms have air conditioning and a heated towel rail.

All the rooms have been furnished with great care and attention, mixing contemporary pieces with antique rugs, original fixtures and local arts and crafts.

A complimentary breakfast of fresh local produce is served daily at the Terrace Cafe during the summer months which is just a short walk away on the adjoining terrace. If you do not wish to cook during your stay, there are a number of tasty restaurants within a 2 minute walk, or you can order a variety of take away food.

RESTORING GRAPEVINE HOUSE​

​Grapevine House is our latest and last house and we made every effort to use and showcase the excellent local craftsmen. Using anatolian rustic pieces that we had collected over the years we tried to restore and reuse them in creative functional ways within the house.  The carpenters used their craftsmanship to reflect and enhance features from traditional Turkish rural architecture.
