RESTORING CLOCKMAKERS COTTAGE

  This house was collapsing and needed to be completely rebuilt from the foundations up, however when it was being knocked down large numbers of clock pieces were found and it appeared that the man who lived here had been the local clock repairer , hence the name.  This set us off in creating an "Ottoman" style house and we collected a number of period artefacts, especially clocks, and have put them around house.  The style and the feel of the house is distinctly Ottoman and this sets it apart from the other houses which have a more rural feel.

The house is divided into 2 self contained suites one on the ground floor, Hamam Suite and the other accessed from an internal staircase and called Harem Suite .  Both have their own en suite bathroom and Hamam has a galley kitchen

 Both have air conditioning but Harem has a wood burning fire and an antique claw footed bath.

  This house is most suitable for 2 couples who wish to be in the same house but have their own private suite to enjoy.
